Anonymous for the Voiceless's Cube of Truth is a peaceful static demonstration akin to an art performance. A demonstration will take place Friday in Montclair, Saturday in Long Island, and Sunday in Camden. These demonstrations operate in a structured manner that triggers curiosity and interest from the public; they attempt to lead bystanders to a vegan conclusion through a combination of local standard-practice animal exploitation footage and conversations with a value-based sales approach. Masks, signs, and outreach literature are provided. Black upper clothing appropriate for the weather is essential, and please bring a fully charged laptop or tablet if you have one. Philly Mac Down returns for Round 4 of fierce yet tasty fun competition! Last year's Grand Champion, LJ Steinig, has gone into vegan mac & cheese competing retirement! So, who will be up next to take on the title of maker of the BEST VEGAN MAC & CHEESE IN THE CITY?!?! Join V Marks the Shop at the Rotunda on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 5pm to see who will win! Purchased tickets include a $5 donation to Indraloka Animal Sanctuary, samples of all the competitors' mac & cheese entries, a voting ballot, a complimentary raffle ticket to win an audience prizes (Must be present to win), amazing locally made vegan cheese to sample & purchase by Conscious Cultures Creamery, and finally, a grand old cheezy time of vegan proportions! Finally, the Jersey Shore chapter of Food Not Bombs will be feeding those in need at the Asbury Park Train Station between 3:00 and 4:00. If you want to donate something, contact them via their Facebook page or by emailing them at jerseyshorefoodnotbombs@yahoo.com.
